Blaze Point Cloud Extension allows users to instantly display and analyze a 3D cloud of points in a GIS context when used in conjunction with Blaze Terra. Using data derived from LIDAR and other sources, users can simultaneously open and modify multiple clouds in the same scene.
Blaze Point Cloud can open, display, and layer millions of points on top of any additional geospatial data, creating a detailed and realistic 3D GIS environment on-the-fly. Users can create open data in various formats to create point clouds composed of an unlimited number of vertices using minimum system-resource consumption. Precise 3D measurements of the point cloud can be performed on top of GIS data to maximize performance and exploitation of data.
Users can fully modify a point cloud, customizing it to their specific needs. A cloud’s color scheme can be set by altitude, height gradient, laser scanner signal intensity, underlying imagery, inherent colors, or a single color. Vertices can be displayed as either points or squares in a wide range of sizes to optimally suit any cloud density.
